Description

BioBite.exe is a  genetic card battler made for Mini Jam 213.

Build a deck of escaped Experiments and lab Procedures, then fight it out on a 5×5 grid. Summon spliced creatures — gene-fused geodes, unlicensed stitch-jobs, sealed contagion chambers — and push them across the board to take down the enemy Lab Director before they take down yours.

Every card resolves the instant it's played: deal damage, stun, buff, debuff, or spread contamination to every unit it's touching. No stack, no priority — just place a card and watch it go off. Hands refill the moment they run dry, so you're never stuck holding nothing to play.

Feature bullets

  • 5×5 grid combat — more room to maneuver than your average jam-scoped card game
  • 20-card deck — Experiments (units with Bite/HP) and Procedures (instant-cast effects)
  • Contamination chains — some cards spread debuffs to every connected unit on a side, not just one target
  • Entry effects — cards like Lab Mistake #12 trigger the moment they hit the board
  • Mouse-only controls — tap a card, preview it, then tap where it goes
  • Auto-refilling hand — run out of cards, get five more, no downtime
  • Made for Mini Jam 213
